I specialise in the backend: payments, databases, and real-time features like chat and voice calls. Products I’ve built and launched include an online store for a Lagos fashion label, a lawyer-booking app on the App Store and Google Play, and a crypto trading assistant whose engine I wrote in Rust.

Most of my work is in the backend, where one bug can charge a customer twice or lose a message.
An order only becomes paid after a signature-verified webhook or a server-side check with the provider. On Sayfi I built a double-entry ledger with idempotency keys, where every amount is an integer.

Call Lawya runs on NestJS, Prisma and PostgreSQL on Azure. Sayfi’s execution engine is a Rust daemon on Tokio and gRPC, deployed in Docker with over 350 tests.

Call Lawya’s chat runs on Socket.IO and queues messages in SQLite while the phone is offline. Voice calls use Agora, with my own signalling for invites, missed calls and timeouts.

I fine-tuned Qwen 2.5 14B on 89k conversations and serve it on an NVIDIA L4. Decoding is constrained to a JSON schema, so every reply parses into a valid action.
